No more lying, no more skipping, no more hiding secrets from our parents, dragons! Clintondale has made a program, Parent Portal, where parents can check up on their kid’s records. Everything from grades, absences, discipline records, and events coming up in school is all provided on the Parent Portal.
Every parent who calls the school and accesses their own account, they are given a username and password. Many students may be a little upset with this program, but it is a why for students to stay on track instead of slacking off without discipline. Now parents can see why their child’s grades are slipping, and to take part of the child’s school life.
If you’re parent is concerned about your records here at Clintondale, you can tell them about Parent Portal. The parent must contact the counseling office, not every parent has access until they have signed up.

No more lying, no more skipping, no more hiding secrets from our parents, dragons! Clintondale has (teamed up with) a program, Parent Portal, where parents can check up on their kid’s records. Everything from grades, absences, discipline records, and events coming up in school is all provided on the Parent Portal.
Every parent (can) call the school and (create their own account.) They are given a username and password. (From here all they need to do is log on online and see exactly how their child is doing in class.) Many students may be a little upset with this program, but it is a way for students to stay on track instead of slacking off without discipline. Now parents can see why their child’s grades are slipping, and to take part of the child’s school life, (before grades come out and it is too late to look at helping without summer school).
If you’re parent is concerned about your records here at Clintondale, you can tell them about Parent Portal. The parent must contact the counseling office, not every parent has access until they have signed up.
(The next wave in education has arrived.)
(notes- I love your writing voice. I wish I could get you to do more of it in class. This reads well. check out the minor tweaks I added and see what you think or see what you can add to it. It looks good and all I need is final draft posted by Friday 4/29.)
